For publishers and authors

Don’t let your novel end when the cover closes; let it talk with its readers.

Bookensoul turns your novel from a block of text into a world readers can step inside. In the book’s own voice and from within its universe, they talk to the book directly: “Why did that character do what they did?”, “What did this chapter really mean?” With Persona, your hero carries the conversation in their own voice — always within the bounds of the text, never a single step outside the book.

Scenarios

What can Bookensoul do with these books?

  1. Chat in the hero’s voice (Persona)

With the Persona feature, the bot speaks like your novel’s protagonist: their voice, their temperament, their point of view. Readers feel as if they’re truly “talking” with a character they love — an unforgettable experience for book clubs, signings and social media.

  2. Book-club companion

As reading groups work through the book chapter by chapter, Bookensoul plays moderator: it recaps the plot, unpacks themes and surfaces quotes drawn from the text. The club link travels in a single QR code.

  3. A reminder for forgotten details

A reader coming back after a break opens the second volume and asks, “What happened in the last book?” With its spoiler setting on, Bookensoul recaps while respecting exactly where the reader left off.

  4. Author–reader meetups, made digital

A bond that outlasts the signing table: the QR code on the back cover leaves the reader alone with the book itself — a lasting point of contact for announcing your next edition.

Why Bookensoul?

What do you get out of it?

  • Not just text — a world to step into

Bookensoul turns your book into a world; readers engage from inside it, in the book’s own voice. They don’t merely read — they step into its universe.

  • A character’s voice, through Persona

Give your bot the persona of your book’s hero or narrator; pick a ready-made template and tailor it. Even in character, every answer comes only from the text, with spoiler protection and safety rules fully intact.

  • Spoiler sensitivity

Bookensoul never gives the ending away unless asked; it can tailor its answers to the chapter the reader has reached.

  • A literary voice

It answers in a tone that matches the mood of your work — in the language of the book, not the language of marketing.

  • A QR code on the back cover

Print a crisp, print-ready vector QR code on the cover or an inside page; readers scan it with a phone and start chatting at once.

  • Faithful to the text

Answers come only from the novel’s own text; the bot never invents interpretations or poses as a critic.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Can the bot speak as my novel’s hero?

Yes. With the “Persona” feature you let the bot speak as your book’s protagonist (or narrator); it answers in their voice and style, and you can pick a ready-made template and edit it. Persona only sets the tone — the bot still speaks solely from the novel’s text, never makes things up, and never gives the ending away unprompted.

Will the bot spoil the ending?

Its default behaviour is cautious: it won’t give spoilers unless the reader explicitly asks, and even then it warns first.

Is it suitable for poetry and short-story collections?

Yes — any text-based literary work can be uploaded. The bot treats each piece within its own context.

Do my readers have to sign up?

No. Readers tap a link or scan a QR code and start chatting with the book directly — no account, no password, no app required.
